Treemap charts in Arbometa

In Arbometa treemap is a preview action for a node. If you don't understand, what we are talking about, please check our about page.

How we made this example

  1. We've created a node "Gas production" with 3 fields: country, year and amount. How to create a node.
  2. Added a preview of treemap chart type to the node.
  3. Added a year filter to the preview (filters explained).
  4. We had a file with data in CSV format (CSV format represents data as a table - you can open it in Excel, for example). Every row in the file contained information about produced gas amount per country per year.
  5. Created an import (imports explained).
  6. Automatically generated programming code.
  7. Imported data from the file.
